My Photo Journey

When I began my friendship with Dee Sturgis, I had no clue where this friendship would lead.

Soon after meeting Dee our conversation turned to photography and Dee's need for images to paint.  I told Dee that I had some photos I'd be glad to share with her.  I sent her a few in the e-mail and that is where my journey began.  Dee shared with me things that she would like to paint.  My husband, grandson, and I would take rides just to relax I would take our cameras with us just incase I'd see something that I thought I'd like to shoot and show Dee.

While on vacation we were out getting a few last minute items for Christmas when I spotted the barn you see in the photo above.  I just knew it was something that Dee would like.  I asked my husband if we could pull over so I could get a shot of this old barn with the lonely old VW parked underneath.  That night it snowed and the next day I said to my husband, "You know where we have to go don't you?", he knew.  Off we went to capture the same barn with a blanket of snow changing the way the barn and WV looked.  Dee has painted the photo above on a saw blade and I can't wait to see the one she plans on painting of the one taken  in the snow.

So my journey shall continue and I'm sure the Lord will show me things to take photos of not only for Dee but for my enjoyment as well.
